The Hits Keep On Coming for Cox 4 New Orleans

As the radio DJs used to say, “The hits just keep on coming!”  Cox Louisiana recently garnered three more prestigious national Telly awards, and is also in the running for more accolades in the upcoming New Orleans Press Club awards.

Cox 4 New Orleans won Bronze Telly awards for the rollicking laugh showcase “Comedy Boil,” the entertaining and educational “Cox Presents the National WWII High School Quiz Bowl 2010,” and “Hornets’ Fastbreak,” featuring fast, furious and funny profiles of some hometown heroes.

Meanwhile, the “Hornet’s Coaches Report” is nominated for Best Sports Show, and “Swimming Against the Holy See,” a feature-length look at New Orleans church closings is nominated for top Documentary in the 52nd Annual Press Club Awards, slated for Saturday, July 17, 2010.

The Telly Awards receives over 13,000 entries annually from the finest ad agencies, production companies, TV stations, cable companies, interactive agencies and corporations in the world. It is a remarkable achievement to be selected for recognition.
